Yoga classes and Complementary Therapies

In this introduction to yoga course we aim to deal with such things as alignment, correct breathing, correct posture and why and how it helps the breath, deep relaxation and its benefits. You will learn how to adapt postures in order to accommodate injuries /ailments/ health conditions so you can practice Yoga safely.  We will also touch briefly on some of the history and philosophy of yoga. Most importantly we will learn plenty of beginners postures.

Yoga course for beginners

Many people start learning yoga (like myself), in a general yoga class.  This is fine in theory but we often find ourselves looking around the room wondering what everyone is doing and should I be making those sorts of shapes etc.  Some people get disheartened because they "cant do it".  Its easy to miss the detail and fundamentals of yoga learning in this fashion. 

 

 
6 week introduction to yoga course -  Starting Tues 14th January 2020 - 6.15 -7.30pm 
St Cyres School, Sully Rd, Penarth. This will continue as a weekly class once the course has finished.
